CSF of Mansfield is pleased to announce the establishment of a new endowment fund in memory of Vincent & Helen Guerrini.

Vinny and Mary Helen were wed for sixty-eight years at the time of his death on February 17, 2022.  Their lasting love for each other began with a wink. Vinny grew up in the "Hungry Hill" neighborhood of Foxborough, was a 1951 graduate of Foxborough and for sixty-seven years had made his home in Mansfield where he was a well-known and respected member of the community. Mr. Guerrini worked for thirty-nine years as a Mansfield Police Officer, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. While serving as a police officer, he also was employed by the Dei Electric Company in Mansfield. After retiring, Vinny proudly worked many years for his son Kevin, owner of Guerrini Landscape, Inc. in Mansfield.

Helen, as she was fondly called, was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on November 5, 1930, she was a loving daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Pouliot) Adams. Both were communicants of Saint Mary's Church in Mansfield.  Vinny was a former active member of the Mansfield School Committee, a founding father of Mansfield Pop Warner Football; serving as a coach for his son's teams, played for many years in the Mansfield Men's Softball League and was actively involved as a member of both the Mansfield and Fort Myers, Florida Lodge of Elks. Vinny was an avid New England sports fan and number one supporter of the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins.

Vinny and Helen's family and many friends were truly the essence of their lives. They loved dancing and wintering in Florida. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling. Mary Helen passed away on November 17, 2023.
